Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Whilst all of the products are assessed, they are not assessed specifically for sensitive skin. We have received numerous reports from customers with sensitive skin who have had positive experiences with Tales of Toria LTD's products. However, please be aware that as skin types differ hugely, and as such, it is the responsibility of the client to make this decision. The same can be said for use on children. 

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we ship worldwide. However, please be aware that countries outside of the UK may have to pay customs on receipt of an order, this is the sole responsibility of the customer. 

   

How long will my order take to arrive?

We dispatch orders twice a week, on a Monday and Thursday. Depending on when you have placed your order, your parcel will be dispatched on one of these days. 

All UK orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 and can take 2-3 working days from dispatch. You will receive a tracking number in your dispatch email.

International orders are sent via UPS Expeditied and can take 5-7 working days from dispatch. However this can vary depending on holidays, postal disturbances and customs clearing.

 

How does your subscription box work? 

The slots for the subscription boxes open once a month, usually at the end of the month. A certain amount of slots will be open and once they are full, the sign up will close. Our subscription service is a monthly payment of £23.95, on the same day in which you signed up every month. For example, if you signed up on the 27th May, you will be billed on the 27th of every month. You can however, cancel at any point as long as the payment has not yet been taken. 

We release the themes every month, about a week prior to payment being taken so if the theme is not to your liking its advised that you cancel your subscription and sign up again the following month. 

Our boxes contain a product from another small business, which means we have to plan a few months in advance the number of boxes available. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to provide a skip/pause option for those already subscribed. 

 

I want to make some changes to my subscription, how can I do this?

Changes such as addresses, payment details or wishing to cancel can be done via your customer account. If you are unable to access your account please email and we can help you. It is also advised to email regarding any address changes to ensure they have been updated fully. 

 

Can you do custom orders?

Yes we can create custom orders, please contact us via our contact form or email us at talesoftoria@hotmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We have received requests previously for wedding favours, gift boxes and subscription boxes. 

Please be aware that to create an entirely new product, we need to submit a new safety assessment which will incur an admin fee. 

 

Do you sell wholesale?

We made the conscious decision to not openly offer wholesale. As our website has been so busy, we want to focus on the experience for customers visiting our website directly and ensure we are able to supply stock to meet the demand. 

However, we will consider wholesale for particular businesses if we feel your ethics and morals meet ours and that we are a good fit for each other. If you are interested in wholesale, please contact us via email. 

 

How strong scented are the products?

Each and every product goes through an assessment to ensure they are suitable for use as a cosmetic. During this process, each fragrance and essential oil has a percentage in which they can be used within a wash off product (typically 3%). When creating each recipe, I have chosen to use the upper percentage of each fragrance. However, please be aware that some fragrances are naturally more subtle than others and even though each soap contains the same percentage of fragrance, some may be more subtle than others due to the nature of the scent.  

 

Are you eco friendly?

We try our very best to be eco-friendly here at Tales of Toria LTD. Your order will be packaged in a cardboard box, filled with eco packing peanuts which can be disposed of easily by placing them in a sink under warm running water. They can also be used within compost. All products are shrink wrapped in Biolefin which is a biodegradable and fully compostable alternative to regular shrink wrap. Biolefin decomposes into food for micro-organisms unlike other biodegradable plastics which degrades into smaller forms of plastic. We've chosen to wrap our products in this as it's the best option for the environment and for the products themselves. All parcels are secured using gummed tape which removes the solvent used in regular paper tapes and again is much better for the environment. 

We have a zero-waste policy when producing products. All offcuts from the soaps gets made into sample soaps for other small businesses to place in their orders.  Any products which don't quite meet the standards get sold at a reduced price in our Whoopsie Daisie boxes.

 

What’s your refund policy?

Due to the nature of each product, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.
